This policy explains, in plain language, how BATETI handles personal data when you visit our website, create a BATETI ID, reserve or buy a product, use a connected BATETI product, contact us or apply for a role.

01

Who is responsible for your data

The controller is the BATETI legal entity identified in Legal Notice & Seller Details (referred to as “BATETI”, “we”, “us” or “our”). The notice applies to BATETI websites, BATETI ID, reservations, online orders, support, recruitment, MiraOS, Reflecta-connected devices and related services that link to it.

Another organization may be an independent controller for a service it provides directly—for example, PayPal for its payment account and transaction processing. Its own privacy notice then applies to that processing.

Privacy contact

Email [email protected]. The controller’s registered address and public contact details appear in Seller Details.

02

Personal data we collect

Data you give us

  • BATETI ID: name, email address, password hash, security settings, two-factor authentication status and account preferences. We never store your plain-text password or authenticator secret in readable form.
  • Reservations, orders and payments: selected product, order number, billing and delivery contact details, address, phone number, price, currency, payment status and transaction identifiers. PayPal processes payment credentials; BATETI does not store full card or PayPal funding details.
  • Support and business enquiries: your name, contact details, order number, subject, message, project information, attachments you choose to provide and our correspondence.
  • Communications: newsletter or vacancy-alert email, consent record, source, subscription status and unsubscribe record.
  • Recruitment: the data described in our Candidate Privacy Notice, including your CV and application correspondence.

Data generated when you use BATETI

  • Account and security data: session identifier, remembered-device identifier, sign-in time, IP address, browser or device information, session status and security events.
  • Connected-product data: product and device identifiers, model, ownership link, device name, firmware and release version, configuration, operational state, last-seen time and diagnostics needed to provide support and keep the product working.
  • Website data: requested pages and basic server logs. If you consent to analytics, we also record a pseudonymous visitor and session identifier, page path, truncated referrer, searches and events such as adding a product to the bag, starting checkout, completing a purchase or submitting a form.

Sources

We receive data from you, your browser or BATETI product, the Reflecta service linked to BATETI ID, payment and delivery providers, and authorized staff who update a support, order or recruitment record. Please do not send sensitive information unless we specifically request it and explain why it is needed.

03

Why we use data and our legal bases

Depending on the service and applicable law, we use personal data on one or more of these bases:

  • Contract and steps requested before a contract: to create and administer BATETI ID, process a reservation or order, take payment, deliver a product, connect a device, provide software features, handle a return or warranty claim and answer a requested business enquiry.
  • Legal obligations: to keep accounting and transaction records, provide required consumer information, respond to lawful requests, protect consumer rights and meet product-safety or tax duties.
  • Legitimate interests: to secure accounts and services, prevent fraud and misuse, diagnose faults, keep auditable business records, improve reliability, manage support and defend legal claims—provided those interests are not overridden by your rights.
  • Consent: for optional website analytics, product or company marketing, vacancy alerts and any optional processing that law requires us to base on consent. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.

Service messages about an account, order, security issue, support request or product safety are not marketing and may still be sent when needed to provide the service or comply with law.

BATETI does not use personal data to make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects. We do not use connected-product data for advertising profiles.

04

When we share data

We do not sell or rent personal data. We share only what is reasonably necessary with:

  • hosting, database, security, analytics, customer-support and communications providers acting on our instructions, including Google reCAPTCHA when you submit a protected public form;
  • PayPal and other payment or fraud-prevention providers involved in a transaction;
  • delivery, installation, repair and warranty partners involved in your order or request;
  • Reflecta systems and authorized BATETI support personnel where needed to link, diagnose or support your registered device;
  • professional advisers, auditors, insurers, courts, regulators and law-enforcement bodies where disclosure is required or necessary to protect legal rights;
  • a buyer, investor or successor in a genuine corporate transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality and data-protection safeguards.

Providers acting as processors must use data only for the agreed service, keep it confidential and apply appropriate security. Where a provider acts independently, its own terms and privacy notice apply.

05

Cookies and similar storage

Essential cookies and browser storage keep BATETI ID sessions, remembered-device security, your shopping bag and privacy choices working. They are used because they are necessary to provide a service you request or protect it.

Google reCAPTCHA loads when you submit a protected public form. It evaluates interaction, browser, device and network signals to distinguish people from automated abuse and may set the necessary _GRECAPTCHA cookie. We use this service to protect the site and submissions, not for BATETI advertising.

Optional BATETI analytics remains off unless you actively accept it. It uses pseudonymous browser identifiers to measure page views, searches and conversion events. We do not use third-party advertising cookies, cross-site tracking or advertising profiles.

You can accept, reject or later change optional analytics through . Withdrawing consent stops new analytics collection and removes the optional browser identifiers from that browser. Read the full inventory and lifetimes in our Cookie Policy.

06

How long we keep data and how we protect it

We keep data only for the purpose for which it was collected and for any additional period needed by law, to resolve a dispute or protect legal rights. The main criteria are:

  • BATETI ID data is kept while the account is active and for the limited period needed to complete deletion, prevent fraud and meet legal obligations; active web sessions expire after eight hours unless ended earlier.
  • Order, payment, invoice and refund records are kept for the applicable accounting, tax, consumer-protection and legal-claim periods.
  • Support and warranty records are kept for the life of the request and any applicable warranty or legal-claim period.
  • Newsletter and vacancy-alert records are kept until you unsubscribe. We may retain a minimal suppression record so we do not contact you again against your choice.
  • Pseudonymous analytics events are deleted after 13 months.
  • Applications in a rejected or hired state are deleted after six months, except where a longer period is legally required or separately agreed; see the Candidate Privacy Notice.

We use role-based access, password hashing, encrypted security secrets, secure session cookies, audit records, access controls and other organizational and technical measures designed for the risk. No online system is completely secure. Use a unique password, enable two-factor authentication when available and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

07

Your choices and privacy rights

Subject to the conditions and exceptions in applicable law, you may ask us to:

  • confirm whether we process your data and provide access to it;
  • correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • delete data, restrict its use or object to processing based on legitimate interests;
  • provide data you supplied in a portable format where the right applies;
  • withdraw consent or unsubscribe from marketing and vacancy alerts;
  • explain the safeguards used for an international transfer;
  • review a response to a privacy request and lodge a complaint with the competent authority.

Send a request to [email protected]. State what you want us to do and which BATETI service is involved. We may request proportionate information to verify your identity and protect the account. We will respond within the period required by the law that applies to you.

If the controller is established in Georgia, you may complain to the State Audit Office of Georgia in its data-protection capacity or bring a claim before a competent court. If EU or EEA data-protection law applies, you may also complain to the supervisory authority where you live, work or believe an infringement occurred.

08

International transfers

BATETI may use providers or support teams in countries other than the country where you live, including Georgia, Armenia and countries where our infrastructure or payment providers operate. Before a restricted transfer, we assess the destination and use a lawful transfer mechanism where required, such as an adequacy decision, approved contractual clauses or another recognized safeguard. You may contact us for information about the safeguard relevant to your data.

09

Children’s privacy

BATETI accounts, purchases, reservations and business services are intended for adults and are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly create accounts for or collect personal data directly from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us so we can investigate and, where appropriate, delete it.

10

Questions, complaints and policy changes

We may update this policy when our products, service providers or legal duties change. The current version and effective date will always appear on this page. If a change materially affects how we use existing data, we will provide an additional notice and request consent again where required.
